Zilele Bucureștiului & iMapp 2026 — Bucharest Days

Bucharest celebrates its birthday with Zilele Bucureștiului, the city's official anniversary festival marking its first documentary attestation on 20 September 1459. The whole centre comes alive with free open-air concerts, street performances, parades, artisan markets, exhibitions and family activities across Calea Victoriei and beyond. The weekend's highlight is iMapp Bucharest in Piața Constituției — a spectacular video-mapping and projection show that turns the House of the People into a giant canvas of light, sound and 3D animation.
