Retromobil Club Romania, through its Antebellum section, presents the 6th edition of the exhibition-event “The Cars of Bucharest – The City’s Interwar Vehicles”, organized in partnership with the Association of the House of His Majesty. The tradition, started in 2021, honors King Michael I’s passion for automobiles and his role as spiritual patron of Retromobil Club Romania. This year’s edition features nine historic cars manufactured between 1924 and 1948, all models that once drove through interwar Bucharest, including a Jeep Willys similar to the one owned by King Michael I. Hosted by the Association of the House of His Majesty, the exhibition takes place in the garden of Elisabeta Palace and is included in the guided tours of the palace. Visitors can discover stories about the city, its cars and inhabitants, and about Romania in the interwar period, in a celebration of national automotive heritage and local history. Access is according to the official visiting schedule of Elisabeta Palace.
