Hai la FESTIVALUL DE FOLK FLOARE DE COLT

Guided mountain hike from the Bucharest community to the Folk Mountain Festival “Floare de Colț”, held at Cabana Mălăiești chalet in the Bucegi Mountains. The event starts on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 13:30 and runs through the festival evenings with live folk concerts by Romanian artists, campfire, and camping in tents near the chalet. The guided route is about 5.7 km with 844 m elevation gain, of medium difficulty, starting from Canton Silvic Leasa in the Glăjărie valley near Râșnov. Participants are expected to bring proper mountain equipment (waterproof boots, backpack, tent or bivouac gear, rain jacket, headlamp, trekking poles, warm clothes, food and water). Alcohol and drugs are not accepted in quantities that lead to drunkenness, and there is a strong focus on nature respect, quiet nights, and acoustic music instead of loud speakers. The outing is organized by Daniel Răzvan Meșteru via the Varful.ro hiking community platform and is free to join, with up to 100 participants.
